The Douglas County Purchasing Department buys supplies and services to be used by Douglas County, the City of Omaha and the Douglas-Omaha Technology Commission (DOT.Comm).

Whenever Douglas County, City of Omaha or DOT.Comm needs services or goods over $20,000, the Purchasing Department advertises for bids in the official legal newspaper, The Daily Record, and posts notices in the Douglas County Purchasing Department and on this web site and notifies businesses on the vendor list.

Vendor Application

Vendors interested in doing business with the Douglas County Purchasing Department must submit a Vendor Application and Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certificate (IRS Form W-9).  Both forms can be downloaded from this web site or you can request the forms by contacting the Douglas County Purchasing Department.
